West End Dog Walking was founded in 2009. The business name was chosen to express a feeling of the community for the pet owners as well as the pets. I have been living in the Vancouver area for over 20 years, including 15 years in the West End. I grew up on a farm in the Lower Mainland and from an early age I cared for my dogs as well as various other animals on the farm ranging from pigeons to horses.


I am a keen enthusiastic of fitness in general and running in particular. I am a top masters (40+) competitor in race distances ranging from 5K to the marathon. My belief in the benefits of fitness extends to pet care. Exercise improves confidence and well-being in dogs as well as humans! Your pet will develop a positive attitude from regular daily walks and runs. I have the energy to accompany your pet on a fun and challenging walk/run, whatever your dog’s level of fitness.
